🔒 PokeRT Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any minimal data collected while you use PokeRT. This Privacy Policy outlines what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is stored and managed.

2. Information We Collect

PokeRT collects and stores only the absolute minimum information necessary for its features to function:

• Discord Server (Guild) IDs & Channel IDs: Stored when a server administrator uses /pgrt config to designate automated news channels or command interaction rooms.
• Discord User IDs: Stored temporarily only when a user explicitly clicks "🔔 Remind Me" or uses /pgrt remind set to register a personal direct message (DM) notification for an upcoming event.
• Role IDs: Stored if an administrator configures an announcement ping role (ping-role).

3. How We Use Your Information

The stored IDs are used strictly for:

• Delivering automated 12-hour Pokémon GO event broadcasts (news_channel).
• Sending requested direct message notifications (userId) right before an event starts.
• Restricting bot responses to designated command channels (cmd_channel).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

• Event Reminders: Once a DM reminder is dispatched to a user, their userId and reminder entry are automatically and permanently deleted from our Cloudflare Key-Value (KV) database. Users can also clear all active reminders instantly at any time using /pgrt remind clear or by clicking "📋 My Reminders".
• Server Configurations: Stored in Cloudflare KV (guild_config) as long as the bot is configured on the server. If the bot is removed or configured to clear, the data is removed.

5. Data Sharing and Security

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your Discord User IDs, Server IDs, or Channel IDs with any third parties, advertisers, or external tracking services. All state is stored securely within encrypted Cloudflare Workers KV storage.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of PokeRT after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
